About The Position

This position is responsible for various tasks related to freight flow, including receiving, stocking, organizing merchandise, operating a forklift, and providing customer service. The associate will ensure the sales floor is well-maintained, club pickup orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and inventory is managed properly. The role also involves proactive customer engagement, technology assistance, and maintaining a safe and ethical work environment in line with company policies and values.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift safely to move and position merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and adapting to change.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
• Provides member service by identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Maintains the safety of the facility by conducting sweeps and following safety procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers needing help with technology services.
• Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
• Maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
• Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
• Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
