About The Position

This position is responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, customer service, and maintaining the sales floor and facility safety. The associate will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, assist customers, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a customer-first approach, contributing to the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift safely to move and position merchandise pallets.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and adapting to change.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility by conducting sweeps, following safety procedures, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled, staged, and picked within acceptable timeframes.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services.
  • Identifies and fixes shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others, and recognizes contributions.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
