Freight Flow Associate
About The Position
The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, stocking and organizing merchandise, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves operating a forklift, maintaining the sales floor presentation, and ensuring club pickup orders are accurately filled. The associate will also be involved in inventory management, technology assistance for customers, and upholding company policies and values, including acting with integrity and serving customers and members. At Sam's Club, associates are at the heart of reinventing the shopping experience. Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
- Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
- Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
- Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
- Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
- Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
- Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
- Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
- Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
- Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact.
- Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
- Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
