About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, stocking and organizing merchandise, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves operating a forklift, maintaining the sales floor presentation, and ensuring club pickup orders are accurately filled. The associate will also be involved in technology assistance for customers and maintaining a safe and ethical work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift safely to move and position merchandise pallets.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
  • Provides member service by identifying needs, assisting with purchases, and resolving issues.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility through sweeps and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers needing help with technology services.
  • Identifies and fixes shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
