About The Position

This position is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and providing excellent member service at Sam's Club. The associate will ensure merchandise is received, stocked, and organized efficiently, while maintaining a safe and clean sales floor. They will also assist with club pick-up orders and utilize technology to enhance the customer experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and members.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
• Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions.
