About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate role involves a variety of tasks focused on managing inventory, ensuring product availability, and providing excellent customer service within a retail environment. This position requires operating a forklift, stocking merchandise, maintaining the sales floor, and assisting customers with their needs. The associate will also be responsible for upholding company policies, safety standards, and contributing to a positive team environment. A key aspect of the role is ensuring efficient inventory flow, accurate stocking, and maintaining the presentation of merchandise to meet company standards. Additionally, the associate will engage with customers, assist them with technology services, and identify opportunities to improve products, services, and work areas. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and members.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
  • Models and helps others with technology services.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix the problem.
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
