About The Position

Melton Logistics, a Tulsa-based 3PL, is seeking energetic, sales-driven individuals to join their team as Freight Brokers (Inside Sales Representatives). In this role, you will be responsible for finding customers and facilitating the transportation of their products from origin to destination. The ideal candidate is resilient, motivated by sales, and eager to grow within the company, with the potential for unlimited commission opportunities.

Requirements

• Fast-paced and comfortable working under pressure
• Driven by sales and motivated to close the sale
• Some sales/business development/cold calling experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability to multitask and stay calm in a hectic environment
• The resiliency to make cold calls and hear “no”
• A great attitude and the drive the be successful

Responsibilities

• Identifying, prospecting, and calling on potential new customers
• Negotiating prices and closing the deal with customers
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining relationships with our customers and carriers
• Tracking and tracing loads and keeping customers updated on the status of their shipments
• A lot of cold calling

Benefits

• A base salary starting at $40,000 to $50,000 plus unlimited/uncapped commission (successful brokers can bring in over $100k per year)
