About The Position

The Order Selector helps keep Albertsons stores stocked by selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or other perishable products. The work is active throughout the shift and involves using a voice-controlled system and a ride-on electric pallet jack to select products, palletize cases, and prepare pallets for shipment to local stores. The role requires a safety-focused approach and work in varying temperatures, from -20°F to 70°F, including freezer, refrigerator, and warehouse-floor environments. Employees may lift cases weighing up to 87 pounds to shoulder level and up to 76.5 pounds overhead.

Requirements

Have or be able to obtain clearance to operate an electric pallet jack and other equipment as necessary.
Be able to move, bend, and lift items weighing up to 87 pounds throughout the shift, including lifting some items to shoulder level and above.
Be adaptable to work in environments with temperatures ranging from -20°F to 70°F.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively with a team.
Take pride in detail and quality of work.
