About The Position

The Order Selector is responsible for completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks and assembling, palletizing, and/or shrink-wrapping products and pallets. The role may involve operating powered industrial equipment and working in dry, cooled, refrigerated, or freezer areas. The position is located at 3030 Main Ave, Fargo, North Dakota 58103, and pays $22 per hour. The posted schedule is Sunday through Friday, with Saturday and one weekday off: Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Shifts may be assigned for 8–10 hours. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, daytime or nighttime hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned. Requirements

Perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Work in assigned multi-temperature areas, including freezer, cooler, and dry conditions.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling and manipulating objects, operating foot controls, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
Lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
Work in a warehouse environment with variable temperature and humidity and moderate-to-high noise levels.
Work assigned 8–10-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, day or night hours, and overtime as necessary.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior order selecting experience preferred.
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Select specified quantities of grocery, frozen, dairy, produce, meat, and related products using order sheets or an audio headset.
Assemble, palletize, and/or shrink-wrap products and pallets for customer orders.
Operate powered industrial equipment, such as single and double pallet jacks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including inspecting powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock or low-volume products.
Use proper wrapping techniques to protect products from damage.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
