About The Position

The Freezer Putaway (Forklift Operator) is responsible for accurately and efficiently putting away frozen products in an organized manner. The role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has a schedule beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished. The position requires operating a PIV, using a radio-frequency handheld computer, and being attentive to auditory warning signals and equipment-related hazards in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Ability to use a radio-frequency handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a PIV.
• Ability to immediately perceive auditory warning signals, including bells, alarms, and horns, warning of equipment movement, startup, mechanical abnormalities, or similar warehouse risks.
• Provide the most recent employment experience with the application.

Responsibilities

• Put away all received frozen products.
• Consolidate like items to make the best use of freezer space.
• Rotate products so they can be shipped using the First In, First Out method.
• Clean and count the assigned weekly aisle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
