About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that distributes grocery and household goods through a global supply chain network. The Freezer Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. The position also pulls and stages delivery orders, unloads inbound shipments, loads outbound shipments, and moves products to dispersing trailers. The operator must operate the vehicle safely and efficiently and keep facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly.

The role follows clearly defined standard operating procedures and is performed under close supervision. Team members take direction and communicate with colleagues. The position is based at 3030 Main Ave, Fargo, North Dakota 58103, and pays $22 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic technical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands described, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling objects or controls, repetitive foot movements, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to changing temperature and humidity and moderate-to-high noise levels.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, day or night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned, and to work shifts of 8–10 hours as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification may be preferred.
