About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company with a global supply chain network that distributes grocery and household goods. The Freezer Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. The role also involves pulling and staging orders for delivery, unloading inbound shipments, loading outbound shipments, and moving products to dispersing trailers. The operator must use the vehicle safely and efficiently and keep facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly.

This is a night-schedule position at 3030 Main Ave, Fargo, North Dakota 58103, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 1:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The role is classified as Career Framework Job Level T1 and requires a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Certification may be preferred.

The work takes place in a warehouse, where employees may frequently encounter changes in temperature and humidity depending on assignment. Noise is usually moderate to high. The role requires working the conditions assigned for 8–10-hour shifts, and employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days, nights, and overtime as necessary and assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic technical skills.
• Ability to work under close supervision and follow clearly defined standard operating procedures.
• Ability to communicate with team members.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned.
• Ability to work assigned conditions for 8–10-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including frequently sitting, walking, standing, handling, grasping, twisting, using foot controls, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching.
