About The Position

We are Doonails, a fast-growing beauty startup focused on revolutionizing the manicure industry with innovative products and a strong community presence. We offer studio-quality products for home use, making them simple, fast, and stylish. We are seeking a freelance video editor who is passionate about performance and UGC ads to create engaging content for Meta platforms and to support the native launch of TikTok Shop in the US and DE.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing performance/UGC ads for Meta platforms.
• Experience with voice-over and subtitle workflows, ideally for multiple markets (US + DE).
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with CapCut.
• A strong ability to create thumb-stopping hooks with high creative variation.
• An independent and proactive work style with strategic thinking.
• Ability to bring performance ideas and actively utilize an existing content/footage database.
• Solid English communication skills (for US content).

Nice To Haves

• Experience editing for TikTok / TikTok Shop.
• German language skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit 1-3 (sometimes 4-5) scripts per project with different hooks and body content, primarily using voice-over (generated with ElevenLabs) and occasionally talking-head footage. Expect 2-4 projects per week, with potential for increase.
• Create US and DE subtitles and voice-overs for almost every project.
• Export one clean version per project, without badges or text.
• Select footage from our content database and actively source fresh material to prevent visual repetition.
• Name final ads according to the Doonails naming table to ensure compliance.
• Manage the end-to-end workflow using ClickUp (footage/Drive), Notion (briefing), and Frame (approval, typically with 2 feedback loops before upload).
• Proactively contribute creative ideas to enhance both creative output and ad performance, rather than just executing assigned tasks.
