About The Position

AMBOSS is a medical education and clinical support platform dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals worldwide to deliver the best possible care. AMBOSS has grown to over 600 team members with offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari. In 2017, AMBOSS entered the U.S. medical education market as a resource for medical students preparing for USMLE and shelf exams. Since then, AMBOSS has expanded to include point-of-care clinical support and board exam preparation across multiple specialties. AMBOSS is now expanding its residency board preparation into additional specialties and is seeking physician experts to review specialty-specific educational content. This is a remote, freelance contract position for a practicing board-certified physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The role involves prioritizing high-yield board topics, mapping content to the ABOG initial certification examination blueprint, and developing standardized criteria to evaluate board-style questions. The physician will then apply these criteria to review AI-generated ABOG-style Qbank content that has already undergone physician editor review. There may also be opportunities to provide specialty guidance to multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Marketing, AI, Product, and User Research), helping shape the development of medical education and the responsible use of AI in medical education. This role offers the opportunity to complement clinical practice with meaningful, high-impact nonclinical work while enjoying flexible working hours.
