About The Position

This position will join the Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) team and support our collective vision to set the standard for innovative, impactful work that advances fraternity/sorority. We believe in the power and opportunity of fraternity/sorority and understand there is a need for creative, solution-oriented professionals to support the ever-evolving landscape of FSL. Together, the FSL team supports and guides over 6,000 students in more than 65 chapters to create a positive and meaningful membership experience.

Requirements

  • Three years minimum experience working with fraternities/sororities on a campus or national organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of harm prevention and reduction strategies
  • Demonstrated understanding of student learning and curriculum design and facilitating educational programs
  • Experience advising college students
  • Strong commitment to equity
  • Ability to work independently and collectively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with population level strategies to influence students and organizations

Responsibilities

  • Advises and enforces Institution policies related to services in Student Affairs
  • Monitors, evaluates, and modifies processes, procedures, and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the Institution's mission, values, goals, and objectives, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Plans, organizes, administers, and manages processes and operations related to assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
  • May monitor the program budget and approve expenditures
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources to support the operational plans of the program or unit
  • Serves as the program or unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups

Benefits

  • The starting salary for the position is $56,112 - but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
