The Franchise Business Coach will manage personal working relationships with Franchisees while remaining committed to the brand and corporate objectives, focusing daily on standards of excellence in all areas of the business. This role involves coaching and developing assigned clubs to provide excellence in service to members, and providing guidance to Franchise personnel in all facets of Health Club operations. This includes new member growth, member service, profit center revenue generation, cost controls, marketing, purchasing, and people development. The coach will ensure franchisee compliance to Corporate standards through audits, operations evaluations, business reviews, and training programs. They will also recognize and share best practices, standards of excellence, procedures, and ideas throughout the Retro Fitness system, while staying within Franchise brand and vendor guidelines. Each interaction in the club must have a net positive impact on net members, PT dollars, overall P & L, member experience, or team growth and development. This role is a sales leader, sales trainer, and sales coach for each person within the assigned clubs. Weekly communication and meetings with the COO are expected regarding job-related activities and developments. When working with clubs, the coach must adhere to Retro Fitness’s preferred vendors, standards of excellence, and procedures, avoiding a "cowboy coach" approach. The coach will utilize existing tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues within their district or Franchisee. They will employ effective management principles and practices to create an environment where Franchisee Gym employees are valued and respected.
