About The Position

Seeking a Framing & Drywall Foreman to join our Self-Perform team for construction projects located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The Framing & Drywall Foreman is responsible for the layout and construction of framing and drywall installations on large industrial projects. The foreman will oversee a crew of framing and drywall installers to ensure all work is completed within the scope of the project. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two or more years of work experience in a Framing/Drywall Foreman position (e.g. Scheduling, ordering, field supervision, safety, and production) over framing/drywall trades on medium or large projects.
CPR Certification.
First Aid Certification.
OSHA 30-hour Certification.
EM-385 Certification.
STS Certification.
Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Successfully pass a drug screening.
Successfully pass a commercial criminal background check.
Successfully pass a stricter Department of Defense background check (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

Foreman experience in multiple trades (e.g. concrete, framing/drywall, earthwork, masonry, carpentry, and MEP trades).
Five or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work in construction (drywall preferred).
Experience in the government, military, or large commercial construction.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.).
Spanish-English bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

Layout and construction of framing and drywall installations on large industrial projects.
Oversee a crew of framing and drywall installers.
Ensure all work is completed within the scope of the project.
Implement required safety practices.
