About The Position

Hale's Roofing is hiring an experienced Drywall Foreman to lead interior repair and finish crews throughout Northern Arizona. This role covers hanging, taping, finishing, and texturing on repair and remodel work, including interior damage tied to roof leaks and water intrusion. This role is ideal for a productive, quality-focused foreman who can deliver an invisible repair in an occupied home, hold texture and level consistency, and keep the space clean and protected from start to finish. The Drywall Foreman will oversee daily field operations, coordinate hangers, finishers, and labor crews, ensure work meets Hale's quality standards, and keep projects moving efficiently. This is a full-time leadership position with strong earning potential for experienced drywall foremen who consistently deliver quality work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of drywall hanging and finishing experience required
  • Foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of levels of finish and texture application
  • Proven ability to match existing texture on repair work
  • Comfortable working in occupied homes with high standards for cleanliness and customer interaction
  • Experience managing crews and maintaining production goals
  • Ability to read and understand scopes of work, job instructions, and project documentation
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Ability to work full-time and occasional weekends based on project needs
  • Willingness to travel between projects within Hale's Northern Arizona service area
  • Ability to lift drywall sheets, work from ladders, stilts, scaffolding, and lifts, and perform physical construction work as needed
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and unconditioned areas

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage drywall crews on interior repair, remodel, and restoration projects
  • Oversee demolition and removal of damaged drywall, insulation, and ceiling material
  • Manage board layout and hanging on wood and metal framing, including furring and ceiling work
  • Select the correct board for the application, including fire-rated, moisture-resistant, and cement board
  • Oversee taping and finishing to the specified level of finish, including Level 4 and Level 5 work
  • Deliver and match textures, including knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel, hand texture, and smooth finish
  • Match existing texture and ceiling finish so repairs blend into the surrounding surface
  • Confirm the source of any water damage is corrected and the area is dry before board goes up
  • Manage insulation replacement and vapor barrier detail on repaired assemblies
  • Set up dust containment, plastic, floor protection, and negative air where needed in occupied homes
  • Coordinate with paint, trim, and other interior trades so handoffs stay on schedule
  • Train and mentor hangers and finishers on technique, safety procedures, and quality expectations
  • Inspect work throughout each project to ensure it meets company standards and applicable building codes
  • Review and execute scopes of work, work orders, project plans, and installation instructions
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and jobsite needs
  • Maintain jobsite safety and ensure crews follow company safety requirements
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, building owners, project managers, and other project contacts
  • Submit production updates, job photos, reports, time records, and required project documentation
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they affect quality or project schedules
  • Keep projects on schedule and communicate delays or changes promptly
  • Ensure crews maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
  • Protect customers' homes, landscaping, and property throughout the project
  • Support a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
  • Perform hands-on drywall work when needed to support the crew and project
