About The Position

Hole in the Wall Chester Valley is hiring a Drywall Hanger for residential and light commercial repair and restoration jobs in the West Chester / Chester Valley, Pennsylvania area. The role involves accurately measuring, cutting, and hanging drywall on walls and ceilings, including patches, full walls, and rebuild areas. Installations should be square and tight, with surfaces left ready for finishing. The work is primarily inside occupied homes and involves protecting floors and furniture, controlling dust and debris, and keeping work areas clean and complete. The position is physical and may require lifting and carrying drywall sheets, climbing, kneeling, working on ladders or stilts, and working in tight spaces around finished rooms. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company provides tools on the job and a company vehicle while working. Pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill.

Requirements

Drywall-hanging experience is required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet the crew or pick up the company vehicle.
Ability to lift and carry drywall sheets and work on ladders or stilts as needed.
Comfort working in a physical trade job Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Measure, score, cut, and hang drywall accurately on walls and ceilings.
Work on patches, full walls, and rebuild areas with the crew.
Set drywall board square and tight, leaving surfaces ready for finishing.
Protect homes by covering floors and furniture and controlling dust and debris.
Leave each work area covered, clean, and complete before moving on.
Communicate with the lead and office about materials, timing, and customer notes.
Help helpers learn safe, clean drywall-hanging habits on the job.
