About The Position

Skillforce is hiring experienced Level 3 Drywall Hanger and Finishers for a long-term construction project at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Candidates should have strong drywall hanging and finishing experience and well-rounded commercial carpentry skills. The position pays $28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience, and is W-2 employment with weekly pay every Friday.

Requirements

• Proven commercial metal framing experience.
• Strong drywall hanging and finishing skills.
• Well-rounded commercial carpentry experience.
• Provide all necessary metal framing and drywall tools.
• Have personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide valid employment documentation.
• Have a clean background and meet all requirements for access to Tinker Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall.
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces.
• Operate automatic taping tools, including boxes and bazookas.
• Perform Level 3–Level 5 drywall finishing.
• Read measurements, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Perform general commercial carpentry tasks as needed.
• Follow all jobsite and military-base safety requirements.
