About The Position

The Framer is responsible for the assembly of fine art reproduction pieces. This position works in a team environment to accomplish the common goal of producing and assembly fine art pieces for distribution. The Framer is trained in multiple disciplines including cutting of prints, stretching of canvases, framing of multi-medias art works, lamination of artwork, and affixing artwork onto special mediums such as acrylic and metal. Framer must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to lift products that weigh up to 25 lbs. occasionally daily.
  • Must be able to lift products that weigh up to 30 lbs. to a height of 70" occasionally on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to read work orders.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.
  • Must be able to tolerate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to tolerate work in a high level of noise environment.
  • Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly processes.
  • Work with a variety of hand tools (staple gun, glue machine, pliers, stretch bar, staple remover etc.)
  • Follow specific QC procedures for quality and attention to detail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
