About The Position

ProCFO Partners is a fractional CFO firm seeking experienced CFOs for a portfolio-based independent contractor role. In this position, you will serve as the embedded CFO for a group of ProCFO Partners clients, executing their proven financial framework. The firm provides systems, tools, pipeline support, and a peer network, while the CFO brings their expertise. This role is ideal for CFOs who prefer to operate within a defined methodology and deliver exceptional financial leadership through ProCFO's framework.

Requirements

Senior financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or equivalent roles
A track record of building trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams
Strong ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences
Comfort managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
A large professional network in your regional market
Coachable, process-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial drive
Curiosity about emerging tools and technologies, including AI
Must be based in Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

Serve as the financial leader for a portfolio of ProCFO Partners SMB clients ($10M–$100M revenue)
Execute ProCFO's service delivery standards, reporting cadences, and engagement frameworks
Partner with business owners to strengthen financial decision-making, cash flow, and growth strategy and build the infrastructure needed
Report monthly on client outcomes, framing the value added, delivered, and communicated at each engagement
Collaborate actively with fellow ProCFO CFOs through peer forums and ongoing training
Maintain clear, consistent communication with both clients and the internal ProCFO team
