About The Position

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a FPI Sandblaster position.

Requirements

• Lift and carry up to (50lbs)
• Willing to work in fast-pace and sometimes noisy environment
• Able to work in a team setting
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Sandblast castings according to job specifications.
• Abrades surface of magnesium and/or aluminum castings to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt and to impart specified finish by performing duties as assigned.
• Will also assist other employees within the fluorescent penetrant department.
• Other duties as assigned
