About The Position

The FPGA Prototyping Engineer will work on FPGA prototyping using the Client HAPS platform. The role involves synthesis, multi-FPGA partitioning, timing closure, specialized debug builds, and hardware bring-up.

Requirements

• Prior experience with the Client HAPS FPGA prototyping platform.
• Experience with FPGA synthesis and implementation.
• Knowledge of multi-FPGA partitioning using ProtoCompiler or similar FPGA compilation flows.
• Experience with timing closure and FPGA optimization.
• Experience creating specialized debug builds and exposing internal signals for debug.
• Understanding of FPGA-based hardware bring-up and software boot flows.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA synthesis and implementation.
• Partition designs across multiple FPGAs using ProtoCompiler or similar FPGA compilation flows.
• Achieve timing closure and optimize FPGA designs.
• Create specialized debug builds and expose internal signals for debugging.
• Support FPGA-based hardware bring-up and software boot flows.
