As a FPGA Development Tools Engineer you will: Develop and optimize software tools for power and thermal analysis of Altera's next-generation FPGAs. Implement new features to enhance user experience and improve runtime and memory efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with FPGA silicon designers, architects, and various Altera experts to model advanced silicon effects and integrate them into our tools. Analyze and address customer feedback, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a performance-optimized codebase. A passion for delivering high-quality, efficient code and enhancing user experience. This position offers opportunities for research, collaboration, and meaningful contributions to FPGA technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6+ months of experience in C/C++
  • 6+ months of experience in Scripting language (Python, Perl, or TCL).
  • Understanding of algorithm runtime and memory optimization.
