About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking FPGA Design Engineers whose primary duties will be contributing to the development of high-bandwidth, high-density signal processing products! This is a full-time, daylight position, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. We are seeking local candidates in Pittsburgh, PA.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess a degree in Engineering or Science.
Must have ability to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance.
Must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
C, C++ programming, Python, Javascript, VDHL, Version control systems (e.g., git, svn).
Familiar with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols.
Shell scripting (Bash) and Unix command line.
Knowledge of protocols such as Ethernet, AXI4, Avalon, PCIe and SDI video.
Understanding of Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure.

Responsibilities

Develop designs on the latest families of FPGA architectures.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers in the development of new products and features.
Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100Gigibit Ethernet and PCIe.
Create products with applications in wired and wireless communications.
Work as part of a technical team throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones.
Routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.
