About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join our finance team. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financials, preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and supporting cost management across all locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to partnering with operational teams, and be highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets. You will coach our FP&A analyst and ensure that our financial data is reliable, guiding teams to keep their spending within budget, and building models from scratch. You will help turn raw data into meaningful insights that support effective decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both numbers and people, converting financial information into practical guidance that drives operational and financial performance. You will work closely with the CFO, as well as remote teams across Europe and Asia. You will also support group-level financial modeling and cash flow forecasting alongside the support of the FP&A Analyst.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • At least 7+ years of experience in similar roles in the private sector, public accounting, or consulting
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and strict adherence to established processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in the hospitality and/or real estate sectors is a plus
  • Experience with Xero, Stripe, Fathom, Hubspot, Payhawk, ScaleXP, Float, and Wise is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive framework to analyze Boundless Life’s total financials (top-line revenue, direct cost, overhead costs, CAPEX performance, and cash flow) identifying key drivers, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Implement processes to enhance forecasting accuracy by integrating data-driven insights from accommodation, education, and community business units.
  • Collaborate with location managers to develop strategies to maximize occupancy rates, optimize pricing models, and improve customer retention.
  • Regularly report revenue insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Produce multi-level year financial models for the company with different scenario analysis.
  • Be a key contributor in providing feedback to the management team to ensure we meet our financial and operational goals.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to build and optimize cash flow projections for the company.
  • Design and implement cost-tracking mechanisms across all locations to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or cost overruns and recommend actionable solutions to improve profitability.
  • Establish benchmarks and KPIs for operating costs specific to each business unit (accommodation, education, and community) to drive performance improvements.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to optimize vendor relationships, reduce expenses, and negotiate better terms.
  • Lead the initiative to digitalize Boundless Life’s financial and operational processes, reducing reliance on spreadsheets and enhancing data accessibility and accuracy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement modern financial and operational tools, such as cloud-based ERP systems or analytics platforms, to streamline workflows.
  • Ensure seamless integration between digital tools and existing platforms like Xero, ScaleXP, and Payhawk, ensuring data consistency and compliance.
  • Train team members across all locations on new tools and processes to ensure adoption and maximize efficiency gains.
  • Develop dashboards and regular reports to provide real-time insights into revenue, costs, and operational efficiency.
  • Standardize reporting practices across locations to ensure consistency and comparability.
  • Partner with location managers, finance teams, and department heads to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between finance and operations to ensure alignment in achieving cost management and revenue growth goals.
  • Work closely with the CFO, senior leadership, location’s general managers and educational directors to set and execute strategic priorities.
