About The Position
At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), the FP&A Manager Sales, serves as a key business partner to Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership, driving financial visibility, performance insights, and strategic decision support across the organization. This role blends FP&A, commercial finance, and operational analytics, with a strong focus on revenue performance, pricing, margins, product, and customer analytics to support top-line growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or related disciplines
- Experience translating complex data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales leadership to analyze revenue, pricing, volume, and customer profitability to support top-line growth targets
- Conduct detailed pricing analysis and forecast the impact of price changes on revenue, volume, and profit margins
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Operations leaders by delivering actionable financial insights
- Support end-to-end financial planning processes, including annual operating plan, strategic plan, forecasts, and executive financial reviews
- Develop financial models, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis to highlight risks and opportunities
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages with clear, actionable insights
- Drive margin optimization through KPI development and tracking (product mix, ASPs, customer and product margins)
- Provide monthly reporting on synergy cost-saving initiatives and partner with operations to drive efficiencies
- Analyze monthly commission reports for accuracy and financial integrity
- Enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and data integrity across ERP and BI platforms
- Automate manual processes to improve financial visibility and efficiency
- Partner with IT and Data teams to strengthen analytics capabilities
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Finance and corporate objectives
