About The Position

Illumio is seeking an FP&A Manager, Sales to join their Finance team. This role will act as the primary finance partner to Sales leaders, owning annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close processes for Sales OPEX and related financials. The position requires translating financial results into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for spend efficiency, and partnering with Sales and Operations to align headcount and program spend. The role also involves tracking performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and streamlining workflows to improve forecasting accuracy. Success in this role requires strong self-management, responsiveness, and the ability to maintain accuracy and control discipline while working across multiple concurrent workstreams with frequent prioritization shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience supporting the Sales organization in growing SaaS companies.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and managing complex accounting projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively working cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills, financial forecasting systems (Adaptive experience a strong plus) and mainstream ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance partner to Sales leaders across Field Sales, Channel, and Customer Experience.
  • Own annual planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly close processes for Sales OPEX and related financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Translate financial results and trends into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve spend efficiency while supporting revenue and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to align headcount, program spend, and productivity assumptions.
  • Track performance against plan and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Partner cross functionally to continuously streamline workflows and improve forecasting accuracy.
