Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student with a degree in Business, Math, Economics, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated competency in financial and statistical reporting, design, and preparation of financial models is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be enrolled at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina to qualify for a Grow Financial internship.
  • We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, learns to perform duties as a Financial Analyst on the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
  • This position has the responsibility for supporting analytical activities related to financial planning and analysis for our consumer and commercial lending products (auto, real estate and credit cards) and expense analysis.
  • Must be comfortable working with large amounts of data in multiple systems and can synthesize it into actionable insights.
  • Frequent collaboration with other areas of the credit union is expected.
