About The Position

A rapidly growing food and beverage company is seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant for an approximately 60-day, full-time contract engagement. The consultant will partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to strengthen financial planning and reporting capabilities, develop a board-ready three-statement financial model and budget, and provide insights into business drivers, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

The role combines strategic partnership with hands-on financial modeling and analysis. The engagement is project-based and is not anticipated to convert to a permanent position. The company has a flexible hybrid work environment; this role requires at least one day per week onsite in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Demonstrated expertise building sophisticated three-statement financial models from the ground up.
• Experience presenting financial analyses and recommendations to executive leadership and/or boards of directors.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, and operational finance.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting high-growth companies, preferably in consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing, or related industries.
• NetSuite experience, particularly in environments undergoing implementation or optimization.
• MBA and/or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive, board- and executive-ready three-statement financial model and budget covering the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Partner with the CFO and executive team to identify, analyze, and communicate key business drivers and financial assumptions.
• Build and refine forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning models.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to support business decisions and continued growth.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including collaboration related to a current NetSuite implementation.
• Evaluate cash flow, profitability, working capital, and operational performance metrics.
• Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis during the engagement.
