FP&A Analyst

HealthEdgeRemote,
$83,000 - $88,000Remote

About The Position

This role is a foundational hire for HealthEdge's growing Strategic Finance function, supporting the BPaaS business and the broader Finance organization. The Analyst partners closely with, and reports directly to, the Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development, taking ownership of the recurring analysis, modeling and reporting that underpin how HealthEdge communicates financial performance to its leadership, its Board and the investment community. This is a builder's role, not a support role. The right person is a strong modeler and clear communicator who wants real ownership early, thrives in an environment with limited inherited infrastructure, and is energized by turning ambiguous, high-stakes problems into repeatable, well-documented processes. As the function scales, this individual has a clear path to expanded scope and increasing responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or a Master's in Finance (MSF).
  • 0 – 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, investment banking, consulting or a comparable analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare and/or technology.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward building repeatable processes from scratch.
  • Curiosity about AI and automation tools and how they can be applied to finance workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day owner of the analytical and reporting engine behind HealthEdge's investor communications.
  • Maintain and enhance the investor data model used to update the investment community on financial performance, ensuring accuracy, consistency and readiness across reporting cycles.
  • Prepare investor-facing reporting packages and supporting analysis, partnering with the Director and Investor Relations to translate financial results into a clear performance narrative.
  • Own the recurring production and version control of these deliverables so that each cycle requires minimal rework.
  • Produce the analysis and materials that inform Board and executive-level decision-making.
  • Build and refine Board reporting materials, including slide creation, financial analysis and supporting exhibits.
  • Develop competitive and market positioning analysis to contextualize HealthEdge's performance against relevant benchmarks.
  • Synthesize complex financial information into concise, executive-ready formats.
  • Partner with the Director to develop revenue and margin models at the customer level.
  • Help build and maintain long-term economic models that project future revenue, cost structure, margin and unit economics.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis to test how contract structures, growth assumptions and cost drivers shape long-term economics.
  • Translate evolving business models into structured, well-documented modeling frameworks that mature as products scale.
  • Help lead the adoption of AI and automation across the Finance organization.
  • Identify and pilot AI and automation opportunities that reduce manual effort in reporting, modeling and data aggregation.
  • Help build and document scalable, automated workflows that expand the team's analytical capacity.
  • Support high-priority, cross-functional special projects as needed.
  • Provide financial modeling, analysis and research to support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Partner with business, advisory and operational teams to deliver timely, decision-ready analysis.
