About The Position

We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, building and maintaining financial models, developing business cases, framing recommendations around key business problems and opportunities, supporting internal corporate budgeting, and revenue forecasting to help firm leaders optimize growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 2-5 years in corporate finance, accounting, business analysis, or financial analysis experience (wealth management or financial services industry preferred)
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and using data to support business or financial analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (financial modeling, data manipulation), familiarity with CRM/ERP tools (Salesforce or NetSuite), and BI reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex financial data into easy to understand executive summaries for firm partners and executives
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Run reports on advisor productivity, lead conversion rates, and client demographic data to identify growth trends
  • Audit pipeline fields to ensure accurate data entry, proper lead scoring, and clean revenue projections for firm executives

Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate, and synthesize financial and operational data from multiple sources including Salesforce
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, investment decisions, and long-range planning
  • AUM & Revenue Forecasting: Model fee revenues based on market performance, net client inflows/outflows, and fee tier schedules
  • Budgeting & Expense Management: Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, track actual operating expenses (technology, compliance, personnel costs), and run variance analyses
  • Advisor/Segment Profitability: Analyze profit margins tied to specific advisory teams, client segments, or office locations
  • KPI Dashboard Reporting: Track and report on key business metrics like client acquisition costs, revenue per advisor, and organic growth rates for executive reviews
  • Strategic Modeling: Conduct ad-hoc scenario planning for corporate expansions, potential M&A/firm mergers, or new wealth service lines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, technology, operations, growth, and other business teams as needed
