About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and analytical efforts across the organization. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with leadership and department heads to provide meaningful financial insights, identify trends, and help drive strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their analytical skill set and gain exposure to both the financial and operational sides of a general contractor.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s or CPA
2–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A; construction industry experience highly desirable.
Proven analytical thinker and problem solver with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling/reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain financial data to non-financial leaders and partner effectively across departments.
Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements
Perform monthly and year-to-date variance analysis comparing actuals to plan and prior periods.
Work closely with department leaders and executive leadership to develop and update financial forecasts, including year-end outlooks and rolling 12–18 month projections.
Play a key role in preparing the annual budget and five-year financial forecast, partnering closely with leadership to develop accurate projections.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
Evaluate and track key financial and operational metrics.
Partner with Vice Presidents and department leaders to provide financial insights, education, and support strategic decision-making.
Present financial results, forecasts, and analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and trends.
Support preparation of materials for quarterly Board meeting package.
