About The Position

The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis processes that support strategic decision-making within the organization. This position is responsible for developing detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets that provide insight into business performance and future opportunities. The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and identify key drivers impacting financial results. By delivering accurate and timely financial reports, the FP&A Analyst enables leadership to make informed decisions that optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company’s long-term financial health by ensuring robust financial planning and insightful analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial planning software.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
  • Analyze historical financial data and market trends to identify risks and opportunities affecting business performance.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect relevant data and ensure alignment of financial plans with operational goals.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial close processes by providing variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial analysis projects to support strategic initiatives and business development.
