Responsibilities

  • Support the development, consolidation, and ongoing management of the UTG profit plan.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, including variance analysis versus plan, prior forecasts, and actuals.
  • Analyze key financial drivers and trends impacting UTG financial performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide clear, executive‑level commentary explaining performance, drivers, and forecast changes.
  • Consolidate and forecast the UTG charge‑out plan across supported business units.
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate assumptions, allocation methodologies, and timing of charge‑outs.
  • Ensure consistency between charge‑out forecasts, profit plan assumptions, and actual expense recognition.
  • Support the consolidation and forecasting of UTG capital plans, including technology infrastructure, software, and strategic initiatives.
  • Track capital spend versus plan and forecast, including timing, capitalization assumptions, and deployment impacts.
  • Partner with accounting and project teams to ensure alignment with capitalization policies and financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver high‑quality financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for UTG finance leadership and senior management.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to inform strategic and investment decisions.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business unit finance partners to understand financial impacts of initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
