Fox Center Visiting Faculty Fellowship 2027-2028
About The Position
The Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry is seeking to host up to two visiting faculty fellows from local colleges and universities for the 2027-2028 academic year. This fellowship is designed for full-time, continuing faculty in any humanistic discipline who are interested in engaging in innovative, interdisciplinary research and scholarly conversations. Fellows will participate in a weekly interdisciplinary seminar, held in-person at the Center on Wednesdays from noon to 2 PM during the Fall and Spring semesters. The program's theme for this year is 'Humanities Plural,' exploring the evolving nature and contexts of humanistic learning and scholarship. While projects do not need to directly address the theme, those that engage with its questions are of particular interest. The application deadline is January 18, 2027.
Requirements
- Full-time, continuing faculty in any humanistic discipline.
- Faculty at institutions of higher education in the Atlanta area.
- Eagerness to be part of a community of scholars engaged in innovative and interdisciplinary research and conversations.
