Fountain Worker - Quick Service Restaurants - Bellagio
About The Position
As a Fountain Worker for Quick Service Restaurants at Bellagio, you will create a welcoming and efficient guest experience in a fast-paced café and quick service environment, supporting outlets such as Palio, Gelato, Snacks, and Starbucks. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light food items while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace that meets Bellagio’s standards. You will engage with guests, understand their preferences, and deliver prompt, personalized service. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a sense of urgency help create convenient dining moments and memorable guest experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take and place orders, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately as applicable.
- Collect money while following proper cash-handling and comp procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house; clear tables and counters and clean the dining area without interfering with guests’ comfort.
- Pack and complete orders according to guests’ preferences, including necessary condiments.
- Label and date products according to safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
- Unload warehouse orders and stock them in designated storage; organize, stock, and replenish products at workstations, counters, and tables as needed.
- Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, and notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
