Fountain Service Technician - Lakes & Ponds
About The Position
The Lake Doctors, Inc. is seeking a Fountain Service Technician to install, service, maintain, and build floating fountains and pond aeration equipment. This role requires utilizing electrical, plumbing, shop, and irrigation skills to service, troubleshoot, and repair various fountain brands, as well as assist in the assembly and installation of new units. The position demands strong electro-mechanical skills, customer service abilities, regular interaction with customers and prospects, and a commitment to teamwork. Technicians will work in and drive in a variety of weather conditions and must adhere to a strong commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, and safety rules.
- Possess good time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Highly motivated individual that works well on their own.
- Strong Team Player.
- Comfortable speaking with the customers to discuss their fountain and aeration needs.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge: 1 year (preferred).
- High school or equivalent (required).
- A valid, clean Driver’s License for the operations of various motor vehicles and equipment.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to travel: This job normally requires daily travel from the employee’s assigned work station to various work sites.

- Some college helpful but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of fountain brands.
- Assist in the assembly and installation of new units.
- Maintain communication with Homeowners Associations, Customers, Vendors, Trade Professionals, Golf Courses, Apartments and other referral sources in the community to grow The Lake Doctors, Inc. business.
