About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Foundry Engineer to drive the successful bring-up, qualification, and ramp of advanced semiconductor technologies for Qualcomm’s fast growing Automotive business. This role requires close collaboration with both internal cross-functional teams and external foundry partners to define technology roadmap, ensure robust process integration, high yield, and reliable product performance. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining Automotive product roadmap, improving manufacturing yield, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and debugging complex reliability issues across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years’ experience in leading semiconductor process development, integration, yield improvement
  • Proficient in breadth of advanced technology: process flow, device physics, testing, repair scheme, and Reliability
  • Solid understanding of yield improvement methodology, including defect pareto development and the Failure Analysis (FA) methodology
  • Strong data analysis (and statistical analysis) skills; proficiency with data analysis tools for both device and yield analysis
  • Ability to liaise with company internal design, product engineers, supply chain and external foundry partners to define optimum technology meeting product requirement; Building trust with these key internal and external partners to facilitate decisions and accelerate schedules.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, and intellectual curiosity; passion for bringing a culture of innovation and problem solving through behavior, decisions, and actions.
