About The Position

Parakeet Health is a healthcare-native AI platform that automates patient communication and front-office workflows across the entire patient care journey. Our AI voice agents handle tasks like answering patient calls, booking appointments, refilling prescriptions, processing faxes, and running outreach via SMS, calls, and email. The company is trusted by national medical groups with over 700 clinic locations nationwide, including Talkspace, 5 of the top 10 dermatology groups, primary care, and multi-specialty groups.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of technical recruiting with meaningful early-stage startup exposure (seed through Series B).
  • A mix of agency and in-house backgrounds, with experience building pipelines from scratch.
  • Proven track record hiring strong engineers across backend, AI/ML, infra, full-stack, and data science profiles.
  • High agency, low ego; ability to identify and fix gaps without explicit instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: concise, personal, and persuasive.
  • Hands-on fluency with modern AI sourcing tools, understanding their practical application.
  • Genuine curiosity about engineering and healthcare, with the ability to discuss technical topics and evangelize the company mission.
  • Strong closing skills, including navigating competing offers, negotiations, and ambivalent candidates.
  • Operating discipline to manage 6+ searches in parallel with clean ATS data.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End technical recruiting: Sourcing, outreach, screening, coordination, offers, and closing.
  • Candidate experience: Ensuring every touchpoint feels personal, thoughtful, and responsive.
  • Talent brand and community: Organizing technical talks, private dinners, and crafting social media posts and outreach.
  • Interview design and calibration: Partnering with founders to maintain a high bar and a tight process.
  • Closing strategy: Building the closing plan with the hiring manager before the offer is extended.
  • Operating with AI: Utilizing AI sourcing, drafting, and automation tools effectively.
  • ATS discipline and metrics: Maintaining data integrity and making data-driven decisions.
  • People operations: Including onboarding, employee experience, and team events.
