About The Position

Lunos is seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be one of the first full-time hires focused on identifying and engaging companies that need Lunos' AI partner for accounts receivable. This role reports to the Head of Growth and will work closely with the team to build the outbound engine for scaling the company. The position offers the unique opportunity to sell an AI agent and utilize AI tools for the SDR's own work, focusing on researching accounts, personalizing outreach at volume, and running numerous outreach experiments. The SDR will engage with CFOs, Controllers, and Heads of AR at midmarket B2B companies, highlighting the financial pain caused by broken AR processes and presenting Lunos as a superior solution.

Requirements

  • Relentless and sharp communicator in writing and on the phone.
  • Organized and calm under high volume of activity with a strong sense of priorities.
  • Hungry to build a sales career and energized by a pre-seed startup environment.
  • Curious by default, with a desire to understand finance, the buyer, and the product.
  • Comfortable with AI tools and eager to leverage them.
  • Tenacious, with a persistent follow-up approach and ability to handle rejection.
  • Prior SDR experience is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Exposure to B2B SaaS, fintech, or finance buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline through LinkedIn, email, phone, events, and community, focusing on booked, qualified meetings.
  • Become an expert in receivables, the B2B cash cycle, and the Lunos agent's impact on finance teams.
  • Utilize AI tooling to research target accounts, tailor outreach, and test messaging at a high pace.
  • Partner with growth and the founder to develop and refine the outbound playbook.
  • Deliver a consistent flow of high-quality, qualified opportunities to the founding sales team.
  • Gather and relay field insights, objections, and buying signals to shape sales strategy.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $60-75K plus uncapped commission, for on-target earnings of roughly $95-115K.
