About The Position

OpenEvidence is seeking its first recruiter, a talent strategist focused on finding and closing exceptional hires. This is not a volume-based role but a strategic position to build the company's talent acquisition systems and processes from the ground up. The ideal candidate will own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing to closing, and will partner directly with founders to define and attract world-class engineering and scientific talent. Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing, coordination, and closing across engineering, science, and key functions
  • Build systems and pipelines to identify and attract the best talent in the world
  • Partner directly with founders to define what exceptional looks like for each hire
  • Move fast without sacrificing bar, because you know that hiring the wrong person is more costly than hiring slowly
