About The Position

Conversion is an agentic marketing automation platform for modern enterprises. The company has raised more than $28 million and has a team based in San Francisco. As one of Conversion’s Founding Recruiters, you will build the recruiting function from the ground up, partnering directly with founders and hiring managers to hire exceptional people for technical and business roles. You will also help shape the systems, culture, and candidate experience that define how the company grows. This role is in person five days per week in San Francisco.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally across both technical and business roles.
• Familiarity with modern recruiting tools to build and activate candidate pipelines.
• Experience working with recruiting agencies and calibrating them on ideal hires.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to earn candidates’ trust while evaluating talent.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive execution and define direction.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a high-growth startup or building a recruiting playbook.
• Familiarity with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, or Harmonic.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business roles, including sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers to build effective hiring strategies and keep processes moving with clarity and speed.
• Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience from initial outreach through offer.
• Improve recruiting infrastructure, including pipelines, documentation, ATS hygiene, and interview processes.
• Use data and market insights to advise on compensation, hiring pace, and sourcing priorities.
