About The Position

About RunSybil Founded in 2023 by Ari Herbert-Voss and Vlad Ionescu, RunSybil is on a mission to automate hacker intuition. We’re building Sybil: an AI-driven pentester that discovers vulnerabilities before they’re exploited. As adversaries adopt AI to increase their attack surface, we’re putting cutting-edge offensive security into the hands of defenders. Backed by strong investor support and early customer traction, our team is composed of experts from OpenAI, Meta, Mandiant, Palantir, Cruise, Trail of Bits, and Aptiv. About the Role We are looking for a Founding Product Manager to own how Sybil gets built, shipped, and improved. You will partner closely with engineering, security research, and our founders to translate customer needs into a roadmap that ships, and ship it on a cadence that compounds. This is a foundational role with real ownership from day one. You will have the opportunity to build the product management function from scratch, define how we make product decisions, design the feedback loops between customers and engineering, and set the bar for how product gets done at RunSybil. We are looking for a product manager who is willing to get their hands dirty on the execution side, jumping in on sprint coordination, release planning, and whatever it takes to ship. If you want to shape the trajectory of a product defining the future of offensive security and build the practice that makes it possible, this is your role.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience at a B2B SaaS startup, with meaningful time spent shipping technical products
  • Track record of owning a roadmap and shipping features on cadence in close partnership with engineering
  • Comfort going deep on technical product decisions and holding your own in conversations with engineers about tradeoffs, scope, and architecture
  • AI-native both in how you work and what you build, with experience shipping LLM-powered features and using AI tools as first instinct in your own workflow
  • Builder’s instinct who sees a gap, builds the fix, and ships it without waiting for direction
  • Strong written communication with the ability to turn ambiguity into crisp decisions, and updates the team can rally around
  • Energized by early-stage work, where the problem is rarely defined for you and the right move is rarely the obvious one

Nice To Haves

  • Cybersecurity or dev tool product experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap end to end, partnering with engineering and leadership to sequence what we build, when we ship it, and why it matters
  • Roll up your sleeves on execution work alongside engineering when needed
  • Build the customer feedback loop from scratch by talking to users, synthesizing what you hear, and turning it into product decisions the team can act on
  • Translate ambiguous customer problems and security research insights into clear product specs that engineering can build against
  • Define and track the metrics that tell us whether the product is winning, and make the data accessible to the whole team
  • Partner with go-to-market on launches, positioning, and the feedback loop from the field back into product
  • Establish the product management function itself including the operating rhythm, prioritization frameworks, and the documentation that scales as the team grows.
  • Set the product vision for Sybil, making the calls on where we go deep, where we go wide, and what we are explicitly not going to be

Benefits

  • meaningful equity
