About The Position
A fast-growing, venture-backed software and payments company is hiring its first product designer. The designer will work across product and brand, with the opportunity to see work in production the next morning. Mural Group is recruiting for this role on behalf of a client.
Requirements
- A very high craft bar and strong taste.
- Experience building prototypes with Figma and AI coding tools.
- Has designed and built their own ideas.
- Works directly with engineers on scope.
Responsibilities
- Run customer discovery with small business owners.
- Design desktop and mobile flows, including checkout, reporting, onboarding, and online store experiences.
- Design how people work alongside AI agents in the product.
- Prototype in Figma and with AI coding tools.
- Build the design guidelines and visual identity.
- Work directly with engineers on scope.
