About The Position

Casap is hiring its Founding Product Designer to define how people and AI agents interact inside financial institutions. The role establishes new UX patterns, sets the craft bar, and builds a design system that helps the company work faster. The designer works closely with engineers, customers, and founders to simplify complicated workflows without sacrificing accuracy or capability. The designer will observe dispute and fraud teams at banks and credit unions, then translate real-world work into new agent workflows. The role also includes creating and presenting keynotes, board decks, and published perspectives to help banks understand agentic transformation. The position is hybrid and based in Casap’s San Francisco or New York office, with in-office work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  • Experience working directly with engineers and customers to design new flows and handle ambiguity.
  • Experience building design systems that help a team work faster, and the ability to explain their impact.
  • Experience designing complex, information-dense interfaces and simplifying them without weakening their capabilities.
  • Exceptional craft and systems thinking, including the ability to explain design decisions.
  • Strong written and visual storytelling skills, with experience presenting to customers, executives, or industry audiences.
  • Genuine experience integrating AI agents into design and building work, with the ability to explain the effect.
