About The Position
Mason is on a mission to accelerate the development of the built world by tackling challenges like housing shortages, energy constraints, and decaying infrastructure. The company creates AI employees that speed up the development of large projects for major real estate and development firms. Mason is experiencing rapid growth, having quadrupled its annualized revenue in March. The founding team includes a successful repeat founder, a former tech lead from Meta SuperIntelligence, and a development director with extensive experience in large-scale projects. Mason combines expert services with AI agents to enhance speed, eliminate errors, and enable precise scaling for enterprise customers.
Requirements
- High ownership and agency; focus on outcomes.
- Deep experience with system design, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Track record of building and maintaining enterprise-grade software systems.
- Strong software fundamentals and good systems intuition.
- Comfort owning infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and security.
- Fast learner who actively adopts new tools and frameworks.

- Experience building or shipping AI agents to production.
Responsibilities
- Ensure systems are enterprise-grade, secure, and built to scale.
- Design and implement secure, multi-tenant infrastructure for enterprise customers.
- Develop system architecture for agent-based workflows running in sandboxed environments.
- Build distributed systems that ensure reliability, observability, and correctness at scale.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security-first deployment infrastructure.
- Create backend services for AI agent orchestration.
- Develop document ingestion pipelines for various file types (PDFs, policies, drawings, emails).
- Build internal tooling to enable a small team to ship code rapidly.
