About The Position

We're assisting a well-funded startup in the logistics space with their search for founding engineers. Their product helps freight brokers start and scale their own freight agencies using AI to reduce operational workload. The role will work onsite in the Brooklyn office, and they're hiring multiple engineers in this capacity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack engineering with startup experience
• Founding or early engineer at a startup
• Built AI/LLM-powered products or agentic workflows in production
• LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI integration experience
• Owned technical architecture decisions on a small team
• CI/CD, infrastructure, and DevOps tooling setup

Nice To Haves

• Logistics, supply chain, or freight industry experience
• Fraud detection or rules-based prevention systems

Responsibilities

• Own the AI stack for freight — build agents, carrier sales automation, quoting systems, and email triage/routing using LLMs and agentic workflows
• Set the technical foundation from the ground up — architecture decisions, deployment, tooling, CI/CD, and engineering culture
• Build fraud prevention systems to catch and mitigate load theft across dozens of fraud vectors
• Deeply embed with freight brokers — join their calls, watch them work, and turn that understanding into software that changes how they operate
• Partner with the Head of Product on what to build, what to buy, and how to integrate it — you'll have a real seat at the table on business direction
• Ship fast with tight feedback loops measured in hours, not sprints — take ideas from prototype to production with real users
