About The Position

Meow is a financial services company providing startups with business accounts, corporate cards, and financial reporting. Its customers include complex, global businesses, including crypto and multi-entity international companies. Meow combines financial infrastructure with hands-on support to help founders operate efficiently and scale. The Founding Designer will own design across everything Meow presents to people and set the standard for design as the team grows. They will work directly with the engineering lead and partner day to day with the engineering team. The role spans product design, internal tools, brand, marketing, and design systems.

Requirements

At least 6 years of product design experience.
Experience as a senior or lead designer at a startup or fast-moving team.
A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work that demonstrates design thinking as well as final screens.
Ability to work across product and brand, including designing dense dashboards and conversion-oriented landing pages.
Comfort working as the only designer.

Responsibilities

Own design for the Meow web app.
Design the internal admin app so operations and support teams can work efficiently.
Own the brand, marketing site, social direction, and blog visuals.
Design complex financial workflows, including payments, approvals, and treasury.
Build and maintain a design system to keep all surfaces consistent.
Partner day to day with the engineering team.
Set the standard for design at Meow as the team grows.
